For respondent no.2 The Court : In view of the provisions of the rules framed by this Court for applications under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, all the respondents are required to be within the Original Side jurisdiction of this Court for entertaining a writ petition in the Original Side of this Court. In the instant case, the petitioner has himself volunteered that the respondents are outside the Ordinary Original Civil Jurisdiction of this Court. Therefore, the writ petition cannot be filed and maintained in the Original Side. The writ petition is directed to be converted as one to have been filed in the Appellate Side jurisdiction of this Court.

The Registry is directed to take steps to delete the writ petition number allotted to the instant writ petition on being filed in the Original Side of this Court and allot an Appellate Side number for the same. The particulars of the writ petition as in the Original Side shall be deleted from the records of this Court including the computer on an Appellate Side writ petition number being assigned to this writ petition. The writ petition shall be considered to have been filed on the original date of filing.
