The Court :- The proposal for regularisation filed along with the affidavit discloses the name of the writ petitioner/appellant at serial no.113.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that as on date he has worked more than ten years and his case may be considered along with the other contractual daily wages staff, who have served more than ten years of service. On the date when the list was forwarded he did not complete ten years of service. At this stage, any observation to the aforesaid effect would disrupt the entire list. We do not propose to upset the list already sent by the respondent Corporation to the Government for regularisation.

We direct the Secretary, Transport Department, Government of West Bengal to consider the proposal for regularisation in consultation with the Principal Secretary, Finance, Government of West Bengal, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order. With the above observation, both the appeal and the application stand disposed of.
