The Court : Learned counsels for National Medical Commission and West Bengal Medical Council have made detailed submission.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for West Bengal Medical Council that R.N. Tagore Hospital does not have authority to confer any degree or certificate. The certificate of the society of the Council for Emergency Medicine, Hyderabad is also not recognised. Thus, the question of entering of such degree or certificate against the qualification of the petitioner in their

website does not and cannot arise. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the National Medical Commission that Ryazan State I.P. Pavlov Medical University of the Federal Agency is not recognised by the National Medical Commission and hence not included in the schedule of Institutions so recognised. The question of recognising any purported Post Graduation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology does not and cannot arise. Learned counsel for West Bengal Medical Council also submits that they have nothing to do with the matter except follow the Guidelines of the National Medical Commission and Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the view that no relief can be granted to the petitioner. WPO/1144/2021 stands dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

There will be no order as to costs.
