The Court:- The petitioner being aggrieved with his transfer and posting at Joka (cash) office of the respondent Corporation has moved the present writ petition. In the present writ petition, he has challenged the in-action on the part of the respondent Authorities to consider his prayer for disclosure of job description of him, as the petitioner had been initially appointed not as a 'cashier' but as a 'data entry operator-cum-clerk'; with the respondent Authorities. At the relevant point of time, he was working in the same capacity. The record reveals that the petitioner was appointed in the said post with effect from 1/11/2010. Thereafter, on 10th February, 2017 he was transferred from Ghasbagan (Traffic) to Joka (cash) office. Thus, Mr. Debdutta Basu, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner has alleged that his client has been made to work in a post which is not his parent post and his client was never appointed with the respondent Authorities to act as a cashier. Mr. Debdutta Basu is also

agitating that inspite of several requests the respondent Authorities maintain absolute in-action to provide any job specification for the post in cash department, to which his client has been transferred. Ms. Deblina Chattaraj appearing for the respondent Authorities has submitted that the writ petition in only based on surmises and conjecture. However, subsequent to filing of the present writ petition, as has been depicted from affidavit in opposition filed by the respondent Authorities, it is seen that the petitioner was removed from cash department and was posted to his parent post and designation as a 'data entry operator-cum-clerk'. The petitioner has been transferred from Joka to the other place of posting, on the self-same capacity.

Under such circumstances, it is found that the petitioner would have no further grievance or allegation against the respondent Authorities to be adjudicated, so far as the present writ petition is concerned. Thus, the present writ petition is infructuous.

Accordingly, WPO/565/2019 stands disposed of being infructuous. GA/1/2021 also stands disposed of.
