..for the U.O.I The Court : Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. The main grievance raised by Mr. Mitra, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner is that the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondents DGFT authorities in not considering and disposing of the representation dated 30th November, 2021 as appears at page 118 and 27th January, 2022 as appears at page 177 of the writ petition.
Considering the submissions of the parties, this writ petition being WPO No. 2160 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the Assistant Director General Foreign Trade/respondent authority concerned to consider and
dispose of both the aforesaid representations in accordance with law by passing reasoned and speaking order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or its authorised representative, within four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
At the time of considering the aforesaid representations the authority concerned shall also consider prayer (b) of the writ petition in accordance with law.
It is clarified that this Court has not gone into the merits of the aforesaid representations and while considering the same, respondent concerned will act strictly in accordance with law. (MD. NIZAMUDDIN, J.) Sbghosh
