The Court: Mr. Debajyoti Datta, counsel appearing on behalf of the decreeholder submits that payment has been made by the judgment-debtor no.1 as had been directed by the order dated December 13, 2021. He accordingly submits that the decree has been satisfied. He further submits that an amount of US$ 22,770/- has been attached which is lying with the Bank of Tokyo & Mitshubishi to the credit of the judgment-debtor no.1. He submits that this attachment may now be released.

I have heard counsel appearing in this matter and accordingly, vacate the order of attachment and direct the Bank of Tokyo & Mitshubishi to release the said amount to the credit of the defendant no.1/judgment-debtor no.1. I record the satisfaction of the decree.

Mr. Jayanta Sengupta, counsel appearing on behalf of the judgment-debtor no.1 further submits that a sum of Rs.10 lakhs is lying with the Registrar, Original Side which is also required to be returned to the judgment-debtor no.1. In light of the same, the amount lying with the Registrar, Original Side deposited by the judgment-debtor no.1 may also be returned by the Registrar, Original Side within a period of four weeks from date. EC/282/2021 is, accordingly, disposed of.
