Alleging illegal and unauthorised construction at premises No.73, Muktaram Babu Street, Kolkata, Ward-041, Borough-V, Police Station-Girish Park, the instant writ petition has been filed. 2.

The municipality is represented and has filed a report duly countersigned amongst others by the Executive Engineer (C), Building, dated 2nd September 2025.

From the aforesaid report, it would transpire that the construction carried out at the locale is in accordance with the sanctioned building plan and the above premises does not belong to Kolkata Municipal Corporation enlisted heritage building. 4.

Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties, having regard to the disclosure made and the materials on record, I am of the view that there is no scope to entertain the instant writ petition. The writ petition appears to be speculative and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
