The petitioners are granted leave to correct the cause title. 2.

This is an application for appointment of an Arbitrator upon resignation of the learned Arbitrator. The communication of the learned Arbitrator was informed to the parties by an email dated August 4, 2025. This is the third prayer for appointment of a learned Arbitrator. The first learned Arbitrator was elevated as a Judge. The second Arbitrator resigned.

Under such circumstances, Mr. Ayan Banerjee, learned Advocate, Bar Association, Room No. 2, is appointed as the learned Arbitrator. This appointment is subject to the provisions of section 12 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The learned Arbitrator shall be at liberty to fix his remuneration as per the Schedule of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
