Petitioner has filed this writ petition against inaction on the part of the respondent, Director General of Foreign Trade Authority, New Delhi, in deciding the application in question filed by the petitioner and issuing export obligation discharge certificate which according to the petitioner is pending since 2006 as appears from Page 45 being Annexure P-6 to the writ petition. Considering the submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPO No. 1226 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the Director General of Foreign Trade to finally decide the application in question

as per prayer (a) to the writ petition in accordance with law and by passing reasoned and speaking order within six weeks from the date of the communication of this order.

It is recorded that this Court has not gone into the merits of the aforesaid application in question pending before the authority and authority concern will decide the same in accordance with law. This writ petition has been disposed of confining to the prayer (a) of the writ petition only.
