The Court:- Pursuant to the directions made by the Coordinate Bench in its order dated January 9, 2025, the Burdwan Medical College and Hospital has examined the petitioner and has submitted its report dated April 22, 2025, which has already been quoted in the order dated July 8, 2025. In view of the further direction made by the Coordinate Bench in the said order dated January 9, 2025, the medical report of the Burdwan Medical College and Hospital shall be placed before the Apex Medical Board for its consideration and to give its opinion as to whether the petitioner is fit to perform his normal duties as an employee of ECL.

Depending upon such opinion and following the directions of the Coordinate Bench dated January 9, 2025, the ECL authority shall take necessary and consequential steps in accordance with law but positively within three months from the date of communication of this order. The ECL Authority shall also consider the 'khoraki', if any, payable to the petitioner in terms of the directions of this Court dated July 8, 2025 and if it is found to be unpaid, the same shall be paid in accordance with law. Nothing further survives in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition WPO/828/2024 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
