..........For the Respondents The Court:- It is submitted by Eastern Coalfields Limited (in short ECL) that during the pendency of the writ petition the gratuity and the benefits under Life Coverage Scheme (in short LCS) have been paid to the petitioner, as a consequence whereof the grievances of the petitioner has been mitigated. The petitioner admits receipt of the gratuity amount and the LCS benefits.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by recording accord and satisfaction of the petitioner's claim.
