The Court: This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Both parties submit that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator may be extended. It is submitted that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator expired on 11th May, 2025. It is submitted that the hearing has been concluded and publication of the award is awaited.

Considering the substantial progress made in the proceeding, this Court deems it fit to extend the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a further period of six months from the date of communication of this order to the learned Arbitrator, in order to enable the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award. AP/157/2025 is, accordingly, disposed of.
