The Court: The present appeal has been preferred against an order whereby the learned Single Judge extended an earlier ad interimorder dated August 1, 2025 passed in CSOS/4/2025.

By a judgment passed earlier today, we have allowed APOT/223/2025, thereby setting aside the said initial ad interim order dated August 1, 2025, of which the extension has been granted by the present impugned order.

In view of the initial order having been set aside in APOT/223/2025, the extension of the said interim order becomes academic. Accordingly, in the absence of the original order being sustained, there cannot be any question of extension of the same.

In view of the above, APOT/257/2025 is allowed on contest, thereby setting aside the order dated August 22, 2025 passed in CSOS/4/2025. There will be no order as to costs.
