The Court: Affidavit of service filed in Court today be taken on record. The petitioner being the claimant in the arbitration proceeding has filed this application for extension of time to enable the Arbitrator to make and publish his award.

Prayer of the petitioner is not opposed by the respondent. It is to be noted that an extension has already been granted in this matter on 16th December, 2019. However, keeping in view the covid pandemic, this Court is of the view that a further extension may be granted to the learned Arbitrator to make and publish his award.

In light of the same, this application is allowed and the tenure and mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of nine months. AP/347/2022 is, accordingly, disposed of.
