The innocuous prayer of the writ petitioner is that, despite the Odisha Authorities having endorsed replacement of the permanent permit to ply a vehicle bearing no. OD 11H/6786 belonging to the petitioner, the State Transport Authority, West Bengal is not counter-signing such order of replacement as yet, preventing the petitioner from plying the vehicle. The

petitioner made a representation before the State Transport Authority in that regard, annexed at page 27 in the present writ petition. Accordingly, in view of the circumstances as narrated, WPO 636 of 2019 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner, annexed at page 27 of the writ petition, pertaining to the replacement of a permanent permit in respect of the vehicle bearing no. OR - 11H/6786, belonging to the petitioner expeditiously, latest within a fortnight from communication of this order to the said respondent. The parties are to act on the communication of the learned Advocate for the petitioner, coupled with a website copy of this order. There will be no order as to costs.
