The Court:-The petitioners who are the tenants on the subject premises has filed the present writ petition for a direction upon the Kolkata Municipal Corporation to refuse revalidation and cancel the building permit dated 1st August, 2016.

It appears that the building permit has expired due to lapse of time. The landlords have taken steps for obtaining fresh building permit. In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioners in the instant writ petition.
