The Court : This is an application under Section 29(A) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The parties pray for extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator on the ground that because of illness, the Arbitrator could not conclude the arbitration proceeding within the stipulated time period. The respondent is represented and does not object to such extension. In view of the aforesaid, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended till 2 January, 2023. With the aforesaid directions, AP 522 of 2021 stands allowed. Since no Affidavit in Opposition has been filed, the allegations contained in the application are deemed to have been not admitted.
