It is submitted on behalf of the parties that pursuant to the filing of this application the respondents/judgment debtors had preferred an appeal being APO/228/2016 in CS/157/2012. It is further submitted on behalf of the parties that by an order dated 27th November, 2019 the aforesaid appeal had finally been disposed of. In view of the aforesaid, it appears that the instant execution application being EC/598/2018 has become infructuous.
The parties as well as the Department are directed to act in terms of the order dated 27th November, 2019 passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench. EC/598/2018 stands disposed of as infructuous. Liberty is granted to the decree holder to take appropriate steps, if so advised, in accordance with law.
