...for respondents The Court :- This is an application for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator. The application was filed after expiry of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, which had expired on February 28, 2023. The application was filed on July 11, 2023 In view of the order of the Hon'ble Apex Court in the matter of Rohan Builders (India) Pvt. Ltd. vs. Berger Paints India Ltd., 2024 SCC Online SC 2494, the application is maintainable. The proceedings were at the stage of final hearing.

In view of the progress made in the arbitration proceedings, this Court deems it fit to extend the mandate for a further period of one year to enable the learned Arbitrator to make and publish his award. The application is disposed of.
