Despite service, none appears on behalf of the private respondent. 2.

It has been brought to the notice of CESC Ltd. that the respondent no.3 is using industrial meter in a residential premises. 3.

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation has already cancelled the trade license issued in favour of the private respondent. 4.

The petitioner prays for a direction upon CESC Ltd. for disconnecting the industrial meter standing in the name of the private respondent. 5.

Learned Counsel for the CESC Ltd. submits, upon instruction that, the meter may be disconnected provided police protection is granted to the CESC personnel.

Respondent no.2 is directed to take steps to disconnect the industrial meter standing in the name of the respondent no.3 subject to the payment of necessary police costs to be deposited by the petitioner.

CESC Ltd. shall take steps in the matter at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Writ petition stands disposed of.

Affidavit of serviced filed in Court today be retained with the records. 10.
