For the State The Court : Report submitted by the state is taken on record. It appears from the report and is also submitted on behalf of the State that the petitioners are raising construction in the plot in question in accordance with law. For reasons of criminal antecedents of the 5th petitioner, the local people are apprehensive of breach of peace due to his presence at the site.

In view of the above, this court directs the police authorities to keep strict vigil in the area in order to avoid any untoward incident and ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility. Any untoward incident shall be strictly dealt with by the police authorities. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavits are called for, allegations in the petition are not deemed to have been admitted by the respondents. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, upon compliance with necessary formalities. (SUVRA GHOSH, J.) A Dey
