The Court: Heard Counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. These are applications under Section 11 for appointment of an Arbitrator. Separate applications have been filed as they deal with separate purchase orders in respect of the same project. In light of the same, parties have agreed that a consolidated reference may be made. They have also agreed on the learned Arbitrator and consented to the suggestion given by this Court.

Accordingly, Justice Girish Chandra Gupta, Former Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court is appointed as the sole Arbitrator to resolve the disputes between the parties.

The appointment is subject to submission of declaration by the Arbitrator in terms of Section 12(1) in the form prescribed in the Sixth Schedule of the Act before the Registrar, Original Side of this Court within four weeks from today.

Let this order be conveyed to the Arbitrator by the Registrar, Original Side forthwith.
