The petitioner prays for extension of time to enable the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award. The date presented before this Court indicates that the mandate of the learned arbitrator ended on May 31, 2024. The witness action of the claimant's witnesses is continuing.

Considering the averments made in the petition, this Court is of the view that the time must be extended to enable the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award.

Accordingly, AP/185/2024 is disposed of by extending the time by a period of ten months from the date of communication of this order to the learned Arbitrator for making and publishing the award. (SHAMPA SARKAR, J.) B.Pal
