The Court :- This is an application for letters of administration with the Will annexed. The application has been filed after about 51 years from the death of the testator. Although the explanation for the delay is not very convincing yet the grant is allowed as none of the heirs in intestacy have objected to the grant and had, in fact, filed consent affidavits in favour of grant of letters of administration Considering the view of the department upon complete scrutiny, the application for grant of letters of administration is allowed by granting order in terms of prayer (a) of the petition subject to the applicant furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.65 lakhs with two sureties. The petition for grant of letters of administration stands disposed of, accordingly.
