[Via Video Conference] The Court: This admiralty suit has been appearing in the list for the past three weeks. On each occasion when the matter was called on, none has appeared on behalf of either of the parties. The records reveal that no progress has taken place in this suit till date. It may be noted that this suit has been instituted 23 years ago. No steps have been taken by the plaintiff.

In view of the above, I am of the opinion that the plaintiff does not wish to pursue this lis. Accordingly, this matter is dismissed for default. All connected applications accordingly stand disposed of. In light of the above submissions, the department is directed to strike off the suit from the ledger forthwith.
