The Court : Affidavit of service filed in Court today be kept on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner intended to participate in a sale conducted by the Official Liquidator and accordingly, for such participation, submitted a Demand Draft to the Official Liquidator. The same was renewed from time to time, in anticipation of the sale, which was deferred on several occasions. Ultimately, the petitioner has not participated in such sale and is not aware whether any such sale has actually taken place. Be that as it may, the petitioner seeks refund of the Demand Draft and /or cancellation of the same.

Despite service, none appears for the respondents. It appears from the demand for justice sent by the petitioner on June 20, 2023 to the Official Liquidator as well as the Punjab National Bank that the petitioner sought for cancellation for the Demand Draft and refund of the amount of Demand Draft. Since the said representation of the petitioner has not yet been

considered, WPO/1469/2023 is disposed of by directing the respondents, that is, the Official Liquidator of this Court as well as the Punjab National Bank, to consider and decide on the representation given by the petitioner, as annexed at page 36 of the present writ petition. Such representation shall be decided at the earliest by the respondents, positively within one month from the date of communication of this order to the said respondents. The decision, as taken by the respondent authorities, shall be communicated to the petitioner immediately for the petitioner to take further action.

However, there will be no order as to costs.
