The Court: This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The petitioner prays for extension of time to enable the learned advocate to make and publish the award. The date presented before this Court indicates that the mandate of the learned arbitrator has expired on 17th September, 2024. The proceeding is at the stage of arguments.

Considering the substantial progress made in the proceeding, this Court deems it fit to extend the time by a further period of six months from the date of communication of this order to the learned Arbitrator, in order to enable the learned arbitrator to make and publish the award within the extended period. AP 193 of 2024 is, accordingly, disposed of.
