...for the respondent The Court: This is an application filed by the petitioner under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of time for concluding the arbitral proceedings and publication of the award. This Court vide order dated 05.01.2023 appointed a learned sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. The pleadings have been completed and the matter has been argued. Learned Arbitrator had reserved the matter for pronouncement of award on 10th September, 2025. The present application has been filed seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal for pronouncement of the award. Learned Counsel for the respondent states that the respondent has no objection to the present application.

Upon perusal of the record, it is noted that the learned sole Arbitrator has completed the proceedings and the award is reserved for publication. Upon consideration, this Court is satisfied that there has been no undue or unwarranted delay on the part of the learned sole Arbitrator in conducting the proceedings.

Accordingly, the mandate of the sole Arbitrator is extended for a further period of three months from today.

Learned Sole Arbitrator is requested to ensure that the arbitral proceedings are concluded and the award is published within the time extended by this Court.

With the aforesaid observation, the present arbitration petition is disposed of.
