The Court: Learned counsel appearing for both the parties agree that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, which already stood extended under Section 29-A(3) of the Act, will expire on 28th August, 2023. Counsel submits that the claimant's (petitioner before the Court) witness is presently been cross-examined and that the claimant does not have any other witness.

The respondent also proposes to have only one witness.

Since the application for extension is made during the subsistence of the learned Arbitrator's mandate, AP/519/2023 is accordingly allowed and disposed of by extending the mandate of the learned Arbitrator till 31st March, 2024.
