THE COURT: In terms of the order dated November 26, 2025, learned Advocate representing West Bengal Transport Corporation Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Corporation) has submitted a copy of the letter dated December 2, 2025, issued by the Chief Accounts Officer in Charge and the same is taken on record.

On perusal of the said letter dated December 2, 2025, it appears that after superannuation of the petitioner on June 30, 2025, gratuity, leave encashment and arrear salary to the tune of Rs.5,48,790/- was paid to the petitioner on August 22, 2025. In addition thereto, on adjustment of subsistence allowance petitioner was paid to the tune of 7,24,248/- on December 1, 2025.

However, it is submitted on behalf of the said Corporation that as disciplinary proceeding initiated against the petitioner was abandoned due to his superannuation on June 30, 2025, he is entitled to get some more payments towards arrear salary adjusting subsistence allowance. It is also contended that steps are being taken to settle the claim of the petitioner and it is to be paid soon. 4.

The petitioner is represented by learned Advocate. 5.

The concerned authority of said Corporation is directed to release rest of the amount payable to the petitioner towards arrear salary during the period when the petitioner was placed under suspension on adjusting subsistence allowance by fortnight from date. At the time of making such payment final statement of calculation shall be supplied to the petitioner. 6.

With such direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 7.

There will be no order as to costs.
