...for the respondent The Court: Affidavit of service is taken on record. This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The petitioner prays for extension of time to allow the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award. It is submitted that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator expired on 17th February, 2024. It is also submitted that witness action is going on. It is submitted that parties will make serious endeavour to conclude the proceeding which is at advance stage,

expeditiously. One last opportunity is given to the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award.

Considering that the witness action is going on and the matter has reached an advanced stage, this Court deems it fit to extend the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a further period of one year from the date of communication of this order within which time the learned Arbitrator shall make and publish the award.
