The Court : In view of the urgency pleaded on behalf of the parties, the matter is taken up for hearing.

This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for the Arbitrator to publish the award.

It is fairly submitted by both parties that for reasons beyond their control they were unable to expedite the proceedings before the Learned Arbitrator. In such circumstances, the time to publish the award is extended by a period of six months from date.
