The Court :

This writ petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of an appeal filed by the petitioner against an assessment order dated March 30, 2015 in respect of the assessment year 2012-13. It is submitted that the appeal had been filed on April 29, 2015 but the same is yet to be disposed of.

Since it is evident from Annexure P-2 at page 26 of the writ petition that the appeal was filed before the Commissioner of Income-Tax (Appeals) - 3, Kolkata on April 29, 2015 and the same is yet to be disposed of, the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) -3, Kolkata is requested to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of the order in accordance with law.

WPO 839 of 2025 stands disposed of.

No order is passed as to costs.
