...for the respondent The Court: Affidavit of service is taken on record. This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The petitioner prays for extension of time to allow the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award. It is submitted that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is going to expire on 11th December, 2024. It is also submitted that witness action is going on.

Considering the substantial progress made in the proceeding, this Court deems it fit to extend the time by a further period of one year from the date of communication of this order to the learned Arbitrator, in order to enable the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award. AP-COM/936/2024 is, accordingly, disposed of. All allegations against the respondent are deemed to be denied. (SHAMPA SARKAR, J.) B.Pal
