Learned counsel for the petitioner placed an order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated July 7, 2023 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No.12662/2023. The same is taken on record.

In the light of the said order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the special leave petition being dismissed, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that parties have taken steps in the matter. Hence, the contempt proceeding may be dropped.

Mr. Amitava Mitra, learned counsel for the alleged contemnors, has also confirmed such factual position as submitted on behalf of the petitioner.

In view of the above, this contempt proceeding, CC No.47 of 2022 stands dropped and consequently the application for contempt stands disposed of.
