Petitioner is an employee of Bank of Maharashtra against whom disciplinary proceedings was initiated and the same was culminated into an order of punishment dated 14th February, 2025.

It was decided by the disciplinary authority, as it is reflected from the order of punishment dated 14th February, 2025, that the petitioner to suffer reduction in the time scale of pay by three stages for a period of 3 years with cumulative effect. 3.

Being aggrieved by the said order of punishment dated 14th February, 2025, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the Appellate Authority on 25th March, 2025 and the grievance of the

petitioner is the said appeal is yet to be decided. 4.

Bank Authorities are represented by learned Advocate who has not disputed the fact of preferring appeal by the petitioner questioning the order of punishment dated 14th February, 2025. 5.

Hence, Appellate Authority is directed to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 25th March, 2025 by three months from the date of communication of this order after granting opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

Decision be taken up by the Appellate Authority shall be communicated to the petitioner by fortnight thereafter. 7.

The writ petition being WPO No. 848 of 2025 stands disposed of. 8.

Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
