...For the Respondent The Court:- Affidavit of service is taken on record. This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The petitioner prays for extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator. The mandate of the Arbitrator is due to expire on December 12, 2024. Parties are before this Court and both submit that the witness action is near completion. Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties, this Court deems it fit to extend the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a further period of 12 months, to enable the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award within the extended period.
