...for the respondent The Court: This is an application for extension of the learned Arbitrator's mandate under Section 29-A(4) of the 1996 Act. The mandate, admittedly, will terminate on and from 2nd September, 2023. The present application was made on 24th August, 2023.

Considering the statutory framework under Section 29-A of the 1996 Act and the power under Section 29-A(4) of the said Act, AP/605/2023 is allowed and disposed of by extending the learned Arbitrator's mandate for a period of four months from 1st September, 2023.
