...for the respondent The Court: Heard Counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. This is an application under Section 29 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extending the period of the arbitration Tribunal for completing the proceeding and making and publishing of the award. Counsel on behalf of the respondent has opposed this application but I do not find any ground for sustaining the said objection.

After hearing both the parties, I am of the view that the petition should be allowed. The arbitration Tribunal is granted a further period of six months from date to complete the said arbitration. AP/556/2022 is accordingly disposed of.
