...for the respondent The Court: The mandate of the learned arbitral tribunal is admittedly going to be terminated on and from 5th September, 2023. The parties have already consented to the additional extension under Section 29A(3) of the 1996 Act for six months and say that the claimant (the petitioner before the Court) will commence its arguments on 8th September, 2023. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents does not oppose extension of the mandate.

Since the mandate of the learned Arbitrator was subsisting as on the date of making of the present application and the respondents do not oppose further extension of the mandate, AP/607/2023 is accordingly allowed and disposed of by extending the mandate for six months from 5th September, 2023.
