In compliance of the direction passed by the Court on 23rd December, 2024, hearing was conducted and the reply to the show cause filed by the petitioner was considered.

The reasoned order dated 9th January, 2025 passed by the Registrar General of Marriages, West Bengal has been placed before this Court. Copy of the same has been served upon the learned advocate for the petitioner in Court today. 3.

As the initial grievance of the petitioner was that the charge sheet was issued upon the petitioner without considering her reply to the show cause, accordingly, the Court is not inclined to permit the authority to proceed on the basis of the said charge sheet. The charge sheet dated 9th September, 2024 stands set aside.

The authority has already considered the reply and passed reasoned order on 9th January, 2025 by taking a stand that the reply filed by the petitioner is deemed unsatisfactory and charges are framed against her for the stated

violations, accordingly, let the disciplinary proceeding initiated against the petitioner be regularised. Fresh charge sheet shall be issued to the petitioner. 5.

It will be open for the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law in reply to the charge sheet to be issued.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
