The passport of the petitioner, which is valid till March, 2028, stood blocked as the criminal proceeding is pending against her. 2.

The petitioner has since been acquitted from the said criminal case. The fact of acquittal has been brought to the knowledge of the passport authority and it has been submitted by the learned ASGI, on instruction, that the blockage by the passport authority has been lifted. 3.

As it appears that the petitioner has been acquitted from the criminal case, accordingly, there ought not to be any impediment on the part of the petitioner to use her passport.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
