This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner being aggrieved by the inaction on part of the respondent appellate authority dated 8th January, 2018 in considering and disposing the appeal filed by the petitioner relating to assessment year 2010-11 in spite of making repeated representations and it appears from record that last such representation was made on 27th July, 2022 as appears from page 67 of the writ petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking into consideration the inordinate delay of more than four years in disposing the appeal in question, this writ petition being WPO 2416 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the CIT (Appeal) concerned/ respondent no. 5 to consider and dispose of the appeal of the

petitioner expeditiously and preferably within three months from date, in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order and after taking into consideration the representation of the petitioner dated 27th July, 2022 .
