...for the SAIL/respondent The Court:- By consent of the parties, the matter is taken up for hearing.
It is submitted that there is an inadvertent omission in the order dated 11th March, 2026. The order dated 11th March, 2026 stands corrected to the extent that "at page 3, it is not the Registrar, Original Side who was directed to invest the balance amount but the award-debtor". In fact, the award-debtor was directed to invest the said amount and the Original FDR was to be kept with the Registrar Original Side. As a consequence, it is SAIL or the State Bank of India who is directed to encash the fixed deposit and release the amount in favour of the respondent no. 2. Insofar as the balance amount is concerned, the awarddebtor, Steel Authority of India Limited is directed to open an FD in respect of the accrued interest/balance amount and invest the sum in a fixed deposit keeping the original FDR with the Registrar Original Side.
Since the fixed deposit has been opened in the name of the Steel Authority of India Limited, the Steel Authority of India Limited is to thereafter remit the amount as indicated in the order dated 11th March, 2026 to the respective accounts of the award-holder. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.) S.Bag
