...for the Respondent The Court: This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The petitioner prays for extension of mandate of the learned arbitrator by a period of one year. The arbitration is at the stage of cross-examination of the respondent's witnesses. Learned advocate for the respondent submits that baseless allegations have been made against the respondent. This Court finds that the proceedings have reached an advanced stage. Hence, it is appropriate to extend the mandate by a further period of one

year from the date of communication of this order to enable the learned arbitrator to make and publish his award within the extended period. All allegations against the respondents are deemed to be denied. The application is accordingly disposed of.
