By this writ petition, petitioner has sought relief of direction upon the respondent Income Tax Authority concerned to make payment of refund in question along with statutory interest. Petitioner submits that during pendency of this writ petition payment of refund in question has already been made and considering such submission of learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition being WPO 1612 of 2023 is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make proper application before the respondent Authority concerned in accordance with law for its claim of interest.
