...for the respondent The Court: The respondent does not dispute the extension of the Arbitrator's mandate in the present application which has been filed under Section 29-A(4) of the 1996 Act.

The parties agree that the period under Section 29-A(1) expired on 13th May, 2023 and the additional six months window under Section 29-A(3) was given by the parties on 6th August, 2022 as recorded in a Minutes of an earlier sitting.

The mandate will now end on 12th November, 2023. The parties say that the parties will make their respective arguments in the arbitration.

AP/677/2023 is accordingly allowed and disposed of by extending the learned Arbitrator's mandate by a period of four months from 12th November, 2023.
