The Court : Petitioner being the only adopted daughter of the deceased Kajari Mitra had made an application for grant of letters of administration with respect to the property and credit of the state of the deceased and vide order dated 13th January, 2017 this Court has granted letters of administration and on 4th April, 2017 the letters of administration was issued to the petitioner. After issuance of the letters of administration the petitioner came to know that the deceased Kajari Mitra was holder of 99.98% share of Jagkalyan Tradelink Private Limited and 99.60% shares of H. K. Mitter Consultants Private Limited but inadvertently the same was not included in the application for grant of Letters of Administration as well as in the affidavit of assets of the said application. Counsel for the petitioner submits that she is the only adopted daughter and as such there is no requirement of publication of any special citation or general citation and prayed for amendment of the application filed by the petitioner for grant of letters of administration being PLA/227/2016.

Considering the prayers made by the Counsel for the petitioner and the documents relied on by the petitioner this Court finds that there is no impediment to allow the application filed by the petitioner. Accordingly, prayers in terms of (a) to (e) of the Master Summons are allowed.

GA/3/2022 is disposed of.
