The Court:- Calculation prepared by the Assessment Department of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has been placed in Court. It appears therefrom that the outstanding property tax as per the segregated LOI dated 07.02.2024 in respect of M/s. Rupayan Tourism Exploring Society is Rs.8,55,615/-(8.11%) .

Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that a sum of Rs.7,50,000/- has been paid by the petitioner and accepted by the Corporation by issuing receipt thereto. The petitioner intends to pay off the balance. The petitioner has already prepared a Bank draft in favour of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation dated 20.02.2024 for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- bearing Draft No.741116 drawn on Punjab & Sind Bank, Chowringhee Road, Kolkata.

The petitioner is directed to clear the outstanding dues of the Corporation.

Let copy of the bank draft be retained with the record. Writ petition stands disposed of.
