The petitioner is aggrieved by the act on the part of IDFC First Bank Limited in taking follow up steps for regularisation/settlement of bill of entry (Import remittance not made). According to the petitioner, the action of the bank is contrary to the provisions of law. 2.
Learned Counsel representing the IDFC First Bank Limited relies upon the Master Direction issued by the RBI relating to import of goods and services updated as on 29th August, 2024.

It has been submitted that steps are being taken by the bank in terms of the detailed operational procedure for IDPMS. 4.
It appears that the petitioner made a representation before the bank which was duly answered by the bank.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the IDFC First Bank Limited to afford a personal hearing to the petitioner's authorized representative for resolving the issue in question in accordance with the Master Direction issued by RBI. The issue shall positively be resolved at the earliest, but latest within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. 6.
The writ petition stands disposed of.

Vakalatnama and Affidavit of Competency may be filed by the respondent no.3 in the department in course of the day.
